My books from NCCS came in today. If you want to check them out more thoroughly, you can click on the covers here.

Of course, they'd make great Christmas presents for either yourself or those who have questions about our government or how our country was founded.

A little light reading?

Indeed. Add to this the The Federalist Papers and the Anti-Federalist Papers. I need to update my booklist to reflect the change.

The biographies aren't as thick reading as they look. For instance, The Real George Washington is 928 pages, but the biography is only 634. The rest are quotations of Washington by subject, endnotes and index.

The Making of America on the other hand is 783 pages of reading.

I love getting new books. Brings me much joy. Don't get to do that much anymore, and I have a hard time reading the ones I have. My mantle is full of books in progress and books on deck.

FYI, I'm hooking you and Paul up with some reading material when we meet, namely The 5000 Year Leap and Confrontational Politics.

You are awesome. Perhaps I can hook you up with a few reads? We have the 5000 Year Leap, though. Paul's mom gifted it to us when Aaron was born. Anything you're looking for?

Well shit. I wished I would have known that. I just bought two more copies from the Huntsville Tea Party because I thought I was going to give you my last copy.

No worries though. It just means I have more copies to give to other people.

I'm not entirely sure what I would want or need at this point. I've got a family friend that said she would mail me a copy of Going Rogue. I'll leave this to your better judgment.

EDIT: You could give me your book.

Smart ass. I know. My book is nagging at me. Time to get back to it. I'm SO glad the holidays are over. Bah humbug. Fun with Aaron, but shit, it interrupts everything. Gotta get to the doc this week about the blood pressure, but once life is back to 'normal' in the Barney household, the book is third priority again (behind Aaron and Paul of course).

I have Going Rogue, haven't read it yet. Sorry you didn't know about The 5000 year leap : ( It was a kind gesture. But I'm SO excited about the other one you're bringing. I think I have an idea for a book I'd like to bring along for you. Paul and I have enjoyed it immensely.

I'm getting your book but I don't get to write the fantasy sex scene? I'm calling my agent!

Oh, that. Well yeah, you get to write the scene. Lol...I thought you were asking if the book I was bringing you was in that genre. I hate to inform you, but like two pages maybe get to be in that genre, not the whole book! Or I'm calling my agent!!
