FairTaxBookLarge

For father's day, I got my dad a copy of Neal Boortz's book The Fair Tax Book: Saying Goodbye to the Income Tax and the IRS and a Netflix subscription. Both have ulterior motives.

I hope that with the The Fair Tax I can persuade my dad to become more involved in politics on all levels.

The Netflix account has many goals and ramifications, one of which is classified. First of all, I want them to feel the Netflix experience. Secondly, I wanted to bring some movies into their conciseness that they would not otherwise have been made aware of. As they do not have internet access at the house (for reasons I cannot go into) and I am currently both paying for and managing their account, I hope to spur them into getting said access supplied quickly so they can take over their account. Of course, my luck will be that they drive ten minutes into town and try to manage it from the library.

hotair.com is reporting that Nixon allegedly said (in so many words) "We [Republicans] need hot women."

I think Nixon is absolutely right. I'll tell you why: people support attractive people. Don't believe me? I'll give you an example.

At work today, we were discussing the release Transformers 2 which has a midnight show tonight. I made the point that there were two reasons not to see this film: Michael Bay directed it and Megan Fox's comment that instead of destroying the planet, she wished that Megatron would, "just take out all of the white trash, hillbilly, anti-gay, super bible-beating people in Middle America."

This is stupid for a number of reasons. First of all, she was born in Tennessee, so the people she's talking about is her own kin as we say in the South. Secondly, the very people Bitch Fox just dissed are the very people that are going to go see her movie and help her negotiate for a higher salary on her next film.

Megan Fox is a skank
Megan Fox is a skank

I made these points, but my co-workers said that they were still going to go see the film because she was hot. This too is stupid. Will any of my co-workers get to have dinner with let alone sleep with Bitch Fox? NO! But they will go lay down $10 to watch a sub-par movie.

Thus, issues no longer matter as Our Dear Leader showed us via his coronation. It has more to do with popularity and sex appeal. I think that was a large part of Palin's sudden enthusiastic base.

Another thing to consider is this: most attractive young women and sluts in our country always get sympathy points and attention. Why do you think the naked PETA protest generate so much interest? Do you think the same would be true if Pelosi stripped in protest?

Nancy_Pelosi_Botox_Smile

For those of you film buffs out there wondering why I listed Michael Bay directing as the number one reason not to go see Transformers 2 I'd like to explain why.

Saying that he directed Pearl Harbor ought to be enough, but I know that you expect a more thorough answer from me, so I'll oblige.

First, there was the Blu-ray only mini-bru-ha-ha over the release of Transformers. Remember when Bay said that he would only release the film on Blu-ray and in less than 24 hours he had reversed his field because someone at Paramount made Bay an offer he couldn't refuse because Paramount had been paid off by the HD DVD camp in an attempt to block Blu-ray? Yeah, Bay has no spine. If he has no spine, I can conclude that his movies don't have any important messages, therefore I can write off his films as irrelevant, mindless entertainment.

And if that isn't enough for you, I could remind you of the faux pas Bay pulled at an LG PR gig. Again, why would I want to go see a movie made by this arrogant prick when his past body of work has sucked so badly?

As some of you may know, I am taking nine days off starting next Sunday. I don't think that I'm going to make it out to Atlanta at this point, so it looks like other than the evening of the Fourth (4th) I'm free. Seriously, if you're in town or thereabouts and have been dying to get together, you need to get on my calendar because those days will be filling up and gone fast.

During this hiatus, I may toddle off to a super secret location where my staff won't be able to contact me. I will likely blog most of that time as I have a lot of things I want to talk about. I may even take some topics that I meant to hit a while back and cover them, let them gather comments then back date them appropriately. Also on the docket is a series of posts on what the Tax Parties mean, my take on Obama and a public stating of my beliefs on some key issues not yet covered.

Also coming up, I have interviewed Christie Carden, organizer of the Huntsville Tea Parties as well as State Coordinator. And there are some great people that have interviewed me who will be posting those interviews in the coming days. And I have some projects up my sleeve that I won't discuss until they come to fruition.

We'll have a guest blogger tomorrow.

Megan Fox is a complete mannequin without the actual mannequin.. if that makes sense. She has no brains whatsoever and even though she's completely hot, I agree, she looks like she's about 40 rather than a 24 year old. There's just something off about her face; it looks already botox-ized.

And I hope you enjoy your 9 days off, and hope all goes well with your interviews. Can't wait for the guest blogger tomorrow! I've never had one.

There seems to be this unspoken rule that the prettier a girl is, the dumber she is. There are exceptions to be sure (you, for instance) but this seems to be a good rule of thumb.

I will indeed enjoy the time off. Thanks for the well wishes.

Dang, covered a lot of ground in this post! Couple of comments: first, excellent choice on the Netflix gift -- we did the same thing for my parents a while back and it has been fantastic.

Second, about Megan Fox... dude, she's not a skank or a slut or a bitch -- she's just a complete and utter moron. I know, you're shocked a Hollywood actor could be such a dipstick.

And finally, Michael Bay. Yeah... "Pearl Harbor" pretty much sums it up.

Netflix
You can lead a blonde to water, but you can't make her drink. You can, however, put salt in her cornflakes.

Bitch Fox
She's a moron and a skank.

Michael Bay
Why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies?
I guess Pearl Harbor sucked
Just a little bit more than I missed you

I wish Megatron would just take out all people who refuse to objectively discourse with others whose opinions differ from theirs out of some sort of selfish limit of perspective without even attempting to understand their motivations.

Oh shit, that's you again.

You're going to be so dead when Megatron arrives.

Thankfully, I live in the world of reality where Megatron only exists in people's imagination.

Tell you what: I hereby publically challenge Megan Fox to a debate. She can name the time and the place. I'll let you know when I get the call.

And thankfully I live in a world where you haven't done anything significant enough to warrant a public debate with Megan Fox. Nice cop-out though, creating a scenario which is impossible for you to follow through on as your defense.

How very courageous of you.

You're the one who wants me to look at the situation from the other side. So I publically offer to debate, and you turn your nose up at this.

You know what I think? I think you think that you'll one day be able to bed her.

Why don't you come out and tell us what you believe? You can't. You konw why? Because you don't have a belief on this issue. Your whole platform is, "I'm against schpydurx because he doesn't have as large of a platform as Megan Fox.

You're worhtless.

Unfortunately, you're not in a position to offer a public debate. This is not Megan Fox's fault, its yours. You're an underachiever.

If you really wanted to be at least in some part effective in communicating to those who do read you, try something other than your standard, "Nuh-uh" response to her here. I know you attempted something along those lines, but since you're basing your entire argument on a single quote, it makes you look petty, and your "reply" about her career is hardly as far-reaching.

And as tired as I get saying this, I'm not against you. Just today you said to me, "I'm objective because I know my opinions are right and other's opinions are wrong." The amount of asininity in that statement in incalculable, and its your stupidity I'm against, not you.

I'll repeat from my post:

This is stupid for a number of reasons. First of all, she was born in Tennessee, so the people she's talking about is her own kin as we say in the South. Secondly, the very people Bitch Fox just dissed are the very people that are going to go see her movie and help her negotiate for a higher salary on her next film.

I've already explained why what she said is stupid. I further examined her stupidity in this comment. Yet you still say that I haven't debated the issue. How can you be so ignorant? Can you read?

You say I'm an underachiever because I'm not in a position to offer a public debate. It must take one to know one since your aren't in a position to debate her either.

Since all you want to do is have diarrhea of the mouth instead of actually state your stance, we're going to put you in time out with all the other pouty children.

So you're saying we need to "take out all of the white trash, hillbilly, anti-gay, super bible-beating people in Middle America"?

Nope. Just you. I'm a big fan of balance. And just like taking out all the white trash, hillbilly, anti-gay, super bible-beating people in Middle America would tip the scales too far one direction, so would taking out all the white-collar, upwardly mobile, homosexual, atheists on both coasts.

Balance.

How very awkward that you don't understand that.

Please try and keep up with the conversation. What we're discussing here is Fox's calling of death and destruction to a large demographic and geographic that get up every day and make this country work.

We're also talking about how stupid it is that she is calling for her own death as she too was born in Tennessee. We're discussing how stupid her comment is because it's "Middle America" that raises the majority of the crops that feeds not only this country but the rest of the world as well.

Megan Fox has arrogantly spat on the people who have went to her movies and made her a star. I say that we ought to stay home and not reward this behavior.

Thus far, you have defended her comments and told me I'm stupid for not considering her point of view.

But I'll concede the point. Maybe we should start with the destruction of Texas and move East.

Don't be ignorant. She's proved her own point - she was born in Tennessee but is none of those things she's against. You, however, are.
