The Vice-President is in town today for a fund raiser. Link

Dick_Cheney

I have a friend who works weekends delivering fruit and cakes for a party store. He was called in from his "real job" to deliver a fruit basket to Dick Cheney. My friend is an ardent Democrat.

If you had a chance to meet and serve the Vice-President and you were adamantly opposed to his political views, would you accept the opportunity?

I had to stop and think about it.

In order to put myself in my friend's position, I imagined that I was delivering to Al Gore. At first I balked, but then I thought better about it and decided I'd take the offer.

The wildcard in this scenario, however, is whether Al would be in party mode.
